How much can I borrow?

The amount you can borrow through equity release actually depends on a range of different factors. The most important is the current value of the property, but it is also affected by the age and health of you and your partner, as well as any other factors that might be relevant including lifestyle choices and previous medical history.

Will I be eligible for equity release?

Some believe that equity release has complex eligibility requirements, however, this is not the case. To be eligible for equity release you need to be at least 55 years of age, and own a conventional property that is worth a minimum of £70,000.
